Authors’ Guidance
Below are the information and templates for DC I/O BOOKS publishing. Included are guidelines for submission, formatting, and design requirements. Templates for written and visual content are provided to ensure consistency and streamline the process. Please review these resources for a smooth publishing experience.
Overview
We invite you to expand your original conference submission—whether it was in the form of slides, a short abstract, or a poster—into an extended abstract or full paper. This extended format should provide deeper analysis, broader context, and highlight the academic and industrial relevance of your work. If you presented at both events, you may submit each presentation separately. We appreciate your contribution and look forward to your submission.
Confirmation
Please contact us at admin@constructionblockchain.org by the end of February 2025 to confirm that you will submit an extended abstract.
Template
Please download and use the following universal Word templates for your submission. These templates specify the required referencing style, length, and other formatting details.
If you have already been using the 2023 and/or 2024 conference templates, that's perfectly fine. The universal template is essentially identical to the conference-specific templates, with the only difference being the conference header. Our book design team keeps a record of the submission year for each paper and will update the header accordingly for the final publication.
Extended Abstract Guidelines
We invite you to submit one of the following:
Extended Abstract: 3–6 pages (including references and images)
Full Paper: Recommended length of 6–12 pages (including references and images)
For keynote presenters, we recommend preparing a thought leadership extended abstract.
Whichever format you choose, please ensure that your submission:
Demonstrates rigor in research
Provides analytical insights
Offers broader contextualization of your topic
Please note that DC I/O proceedings are concise and include an Input/Output (I/O) session. This session summarizes your work in the form of an algorithm or pseudocode, serving as a clear implementation of the paper’s key propositions. This component is an integral, non-optional part of your submission.
