Dr Kimon Krenz is a Senior Research Associate at the Space Syntax Laboratory, The Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, and an Honorary Research Fellow at the Bradford Institute for Health Research. His current work utilises geographic information systems and spatial data science methods to measure and analyse the built environment to uncover inequalities, with a particular focus on health. His research aims to provide insights that can guide improvements in urban design and public health strategies. Dr Krenz is a Co-Investigator in the PHI-UK Healthy Urban Places project, which seeks to understand what constitutes a healthy environment for communities in Bradford and Liverpool. He is also a Co-Investigator in the MRC-funded project focused on the environment and eating disorders in adolescents.
